This 2nd week of school all FACS classes have been learning about Personal Development. There have been a number of students gone and class sizes have been shift a bit, but everyone has been learning and reviewing lots of information.
Now, 8th grade will be starting the Power of One projects, 6th grade will continue working on self-esteem and then move into peer pressure, and 7th grade will explore the ideas of Eric Jensen regarding the social desires of all people.
It is a great year so far!
Mrs. Hubbard is no longer teaching at OMS. However, this site is still up as a resource to students and other teachers.
Welcome!
This blog is coming to you live from the O'Leary Cubs Family and Consumer Sciences classroom. It will give parents and students an idea of what is going on in FACS class, post links to cool information, and be a place to comment and ask questions.
This blog will also give out information about Mrs. Hubbard's 7th Grade Prime Time. Look for Prime Time just below and to the left to see what is going on there.
